Object Name Vessel
Description Native American clay vessel. A mixture of light and dark colors on the exterior. Paper label glued to exterior. Text reads, " Occasionally a piece of ancient pottery is found the colors of which indicate that the art of using dyes was not unknown to the Mid-West Indian." Object has a rounded base that is smaller than the body of the vessel [the widest section]. The object tapers near the top. A flat clay ring, approximately one half to three quarters of an inch tall is affixed to the top of the vessel.
